Discover the whitewater environment in an exceptional setting during a fun, yet thrilling aquatic hiking excursion in the Rivière des Roches, in Réunion Island!
Water trekking (or simply rando aqua) is one of the best activities to do in Réunion Island, especially in its rivers on the east coast! Much more fun than canyoning, it is one of the best ways to discover white water and to learn about river safety.
With Rando Aqua Réunion, set off to explore the Rivière des Roches from the Bassin La Paix, between Bras-Panon and Saint-Benoît, in the north-east of Réunion Island.
Your instructor will give you your equipment (wetsuit, life jacket and helmet), then give you a full briefing at the beginning of the descent. You will then follow him down a succession of pools and waterfalls by swimming, jumping or sliding. There are 2 compulsory jumps of 3 meters, as well as optional jumps of 4 to 11 meters! Along the way, your guide will give you some tips on how to stay safe and make the most of the activity!
With ideal conditions, the Rivière des Roches is a must for water sports! So, if you are in Saint-Benoît, don't hesitate to try it!
