Your guide will meet you in the Etna National Park, at the foot of the volcano. There, you’ll hop on a 4x4 bus and reach 2900 m in altitude. Your hiking excursion to Crateri Sommitali starts here. Accompanied by your guide you’ll follow a track that leads to Mount Etna's summit craters. As you hike on the rim of Mount Etna’s active craters, you’ll reach the top of the volcano, at 3300 meters high. Before leaving, your guide will explain the characteristics and history of the volcano. Your hiking tour will end by returning to 2900 mt, where you’ll get the 4x4 bus to the meeting point.
