Thanks to the guidance of a professional guide, everyone can fly over the Bohinj valley and get wonderful views of Slovenia's famous mountain : the Triglav. Your instructor will take care of everything so all you will need to do is run a few meters to take off and then enjoy the scenery.

Your tandem paragliding flight near the Triglav will start in the valley, either at the landing site or at the local hostel where you will take the cable car up the ski slopes. After a three-minute hike and a short chairlift later, you will arrive at 1674 m above sea level.

An amazing view of the surrounding Alps will greet you at the launch site, accompanied by a gentle eastern breeze. Your guide will give you a short security briefing and you'll be ready for your paragliding flight over the Bohinj valley. Three, two, one – let’s run and fly!

As you achieve more elevation in the air, the magnificent view of Lake Bohinj appears. After a 1,200m (4,000 ft) difference in altitude and 30-minutes later, you find yourself next to the lake at the landing site.   • Altitude difference : 1200 m (approximately 3,937 feet).
Course of events

Please allow for 1.5hrs in total for this activity, including 20 to 30 minutes of flying.

  • Meet your guide at the landing site or at the local hostel.
  • Together, you will take the cable car up the ski slopes.
  • After a three-minute hike and a short chairlift later, you will arrive at 1674 m above sea level.
  • You will get equipped and your guide will give you all the information you need for your flight.
  • For 20 to 30 minutes, you'll enjoy paragliding flight over the Bohinj valley.
  • After landing, go for a swim in the summer.. or for a hot cup of tea on colder days.

You must be able to run a few meters for take off.

Het was echt gaaf om mee te maken. Het feit dat je na het opstijgen nog een stuk omhoog kan door de juiste wind te pakken, dat is echt bizar.
