Get ready for an early rise in order to spot the Atlantic's Big 5 before the noisy day leads them to more distant waters. Whales, dolphins and orcas galore!
At sea as on land, the best time to spot wildlife is always in the early hours of the morning. After a quiet night, the big sea mammals are more likely to be found swimming around the coast, daring us to try and spot them.
The Cape Town coast at sunrise is the home to an abundance of incredible wildlife, including flappy penguins, playful dolphins, mellow sunfish, and - saving the best till last - South Africa's Southern Right Whales and orcas.
This early-morning trip will see you aboard a small RIB boat for a 1-hour safari in the Atlantic Ocean, while the rising sun glitters on the turbulent waters. The boat can carry up to 12 people, so grab your friends, a pair of binoculars and a camera and join your skipper on the search for some marine magic!
