La planá is a very aerial via ferrata of 100 metres in length in which you will ascend a total of 45 metres; on this route you will cross two Tibetan bridges of 25 and 12 metres in length and two overhangs, which will test your dexterity. The level of difficulty is estimated to be K2.
Come and enjoy the via ferrata activity in the natural environment of Casares and Malaga. The route ends at the highest point of the city of Malaga, where the wall of the old castle of Casares is located.
Due to the location and orientation of the via ferrata, you will enjoy this environment in a unique way; with views of the Strait of Gibraltar, Sierra Bermeja and the coast of Malaga all along the route and ending in the heart of Casares.

Practical information
- Meeting with the instructors at the meeting point.
- Transfer to the start of the Via Ferrata La Plana: briefing and equipment with all the material.
- Via Ferrata of about 4 hours with monkey bridges and Tibetan bridges.
- The Via Ferrata ends at the highest point of Malaga, where the wall of the old castle of Casares is located.
- Return to the meeting point.
Minors must have authorization from their parents.
Arrive to the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the activity starts.
This activity is recommended for active people who practice sport regularly, but not for people with low physical condition or who suffer from vertigo.
Not recommended for people with vertigo.
If you wish, you can request a pick-up and drop-off service to the meeting point at an additional cost once the booking has been confirmed.
