After arriving at the activity base, they will introduce you to the adorable husky dogs. The dogs at the kennel are quite used to human company so they won't mind if you pet them! After receiving your equipment and setting up the sled, the guide will go through a quick safety briefing. For this tour, you will sit in a sled with up to 4 people and be pulled by a dog team driven by the guide.

Sitting in the comfortable sled, you will be pulled into the surrounding snowy forests. Setting off bright and early, you will experience the true peace of the Arctic morning. Once on your way, you'll only hear the sound of the sled gliding over the snow, the dogs barking, and the wind as you get into the northern wilderness! You will pass by some stunning scenery, including lakes, creeks and vast open space.

Midway through the excursion, you will stop for a break in a scenic location. This is a great opportunity to cuddle with the dogs and take some photos. Hot tea or coffee and a delicious cinnamon roll will be served as you enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The guide will also share some insights about life in this remote Arctic town. After the dogs have rested, you will ride back to the kennel. You will say goodbye to your new furry friends and be transferred back to Kiruna.
