Visit a Husky Kennel and Summer Dog Sledding near Kiruna

You'll start your husky kennel visit in Kiruna by meeting the experienced guide directly at the base, or by being picked up within a 20 km / 12 mi radius (please specify when booking). Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by over 100 adorable husky dogs and puppies lying in the sun! During summer, the dogs take a well-earned rest after the winter season, but they still like to interact with and meet people. The experienced guide will give you a tour of the kennel. You'll walk through the dog yards and learn about how the dogs are bred, fed, and trained to become some of the toughest sled dogs in the world!

After touring the husky kennel, you'll embark on a short dog sledding ride in Kiruna! Using the summer cart, the dogs will take you for a quick trip in the beautiful nature of Swedish Lapland. This will give you a taste of their brute strength and endurance! Swedish fika consisting of hot tea or coffee and cake will also be served. You'll have some free time to play and cuddle with the friendly dogs and puppies before the experience ends.
