Kiruna is a town located in beautiful Swedish Lapland, 145 km (90 miles) north of the Arctic Circle. This area is known for its breathtaking vast wilderness, with snow-covered forests, mountains and lakes. Snowmobiling is a really enjoyable way to discover this unique nature in Kiruna!

The tour begins at the meeting point in Kiruna. You also have the option of being picked up from your hotel, please specify when booking. After meeting your experienced guide, you will go through a safety briefing and driving lesson. Snowmobiles can be shared between two, with one driver and one passenger and the chance to switch midway, or as a single driver. Children are also welcome and can either sit as passengers or be pulled by the guide's snowmobile. After getting geared up, the adventure begins!

You will travel through deep forests in the winter wonderland of Lapland near Kiruna. During this trip, you will discover the scenic area around the Torne River, which separates Sweden and Finland, and the wilderness camp on the Väkkäräjärvi lake. Travelling in small groups, you'll make your own tracks, which allows for an authentic wilderness experience.

Midway through the excursion, you'll take a break in a warm wooden cabin. Around a roaring fire, you'll enjoy an authentic Lappish lunch with some other delicacies, as well as coffee and snacks. While you warm up and take in the stunning scenery, the guide will also share stories about this remote location and life in the region. You will then snowmobile back to the starting point and return to your pick-up point in Kiruna.
