Paraglide through the cool summer skies of Riederalp, Belalp or Rosswald and catch views of the Aletsch Glacier from high above.
The Aletsch region is well known for good anabatic winds and thermals that enable paragliders to stay longer in the sky.
With a tandem flight from Belalp, you will catch stunning views of the Glacier of Aletsch, Simplon, and as you move along far down the valley, you will even see the Matterhorn! You will fly over the gorge of Massa and finally land in Bitsch, near Brig.
From the Riederalp you fly with the ascent of the slope along the Riederfurka towards Brig, where the valley opens and the view reaches the Matterhorn. The good thermals usually allow for longer flight times and with a little luck, you even see the Aletsch glacier.
No previous experience is needed! The excellent certified Swiss tandem pilots will equip you with a helmet, harness, and gloves. Your pilot will go over all safety precautions and what to expect out of your flight. Then it’s time to fly! Just a short run down the grassy slope and you will be airborne in no time. Enjoy the views of the Aletsch region with the biggest glacier in Europe and green hills and majestic mountains peeking through the skies.
You have the option to choose between a 15 min, 30 min or 45 min flight.
