Hydrospeed on the Rhône river in the Valais, Switzerland

Hydrospeed or Riverboarding is one of the fastest growing whitewater sports in the world. Equipped with a foam board and fins to navigate on your feet, you are going to float in one of the most impressive rivers in Europe, the mighty Rhône. You can be sure, this is an activity with adrenaline guarantee!

First, you will meet your personal guide in Sierre which is in the Valais region in Switzerland and famous for an average of incredible 300 days of sunshine a year. After a detailed safety instruction and explanation of the activity, you will get equipped with all the required gear for this activity which includes the fins, a helmet and appropriate whitewater clothing. Once you are ready to go, you are heading to the starting point for the exciting ride on the river.

Now it's time to get serious. Conquer the descents and enjoy a rollercoaster ride on the river on three different sections on the Rhône! Your guide will choose the perfect locations for you to learn the basics of hydrospeed and progress throughout the activity. In total, you will spend around 75 minutes on the river. The entire activity including transfer, introduction and riverboarding will last for about 2,5 hours.

This activity is perfectly suited for groups or families with children from 13 years-old on. All participants need to be able to swim and in a healthy condition. Experienced and professional guides will accommodate you through the entire adventure. After the activity, you will be brought back to the starting point.
