Explore the crown of the Alps on this snowmobile tour and overnight experience.

Retreat to the sleepy town of Soglio, a stone’s throw from the Italian border for this snowmobile overnighter deep in the Swiss Alps. Arrive under the veil of darkness to the small alpine town, overlooked by some of the mountains most arresting peaks and dine by candlelight. Come morning, your adventure becomes apparent – saddling up in the shadow of Pizz Gallagiun, explore the gateway to paradise across the Oberhalbstein Range via Cava to Lago Nero and up to Splügen pass.

Location
This activity takes place in the town of Soglio, a pristine alpine little village, is located about 45 minutes east of Silvaplana, about 45 minutes to drive from St. Moritz direction Chiavenna. From Soglio it's only 45 minutes to the Snowmobile Camp in Madesimo.

Activity
Checking in evening at Hotel La Soglina in Soglio, explore the little village at your leisure before sitting down for a traditional alpine dinner. The next morning, you will drive selfguided to Madesimo to the Snowmobile Camp Team Adventure Madesimo in the Alps. From here, you will receive a short safety briefing and demo before you gear up for an adventure tour across the Swiss and Italian border. Travel deep into the snowdrifts and pine forests that decorate the invisible frontier – heading to La Cava at 2,110m and stopping to admire postcard-quality vistas towards Val Chiavenna, Ferrè Glacier and lake Montespluga. Continuing past ancient huts and the ruins of shepherd shelters, reaching Lago Nero (Black Lake) on the Splügen pass, returning to the ski resort of Madesimo where your experience will end.

Accommodation & Catering
This activity includes 1 Night at the Hotel La Soglina in Soglio (double occupancy, half-board). All rooms have private shower/bath, TV, telephone). Dinner and breakfast the following day is included.

Conditions
Operating during the European ski season from December –April, this activity uses two-seater snowmobiles which require a full, valid driving licence. Passengers are permitted.
