Operating from Towan Bay - rated as one of the best beaches in Cornwall, Newquay is renowned for its tidal caves, coves and hidden beaches once used for smugglers and pirates. Exposed during low tide, the cliffs and rocky coastline is also a haven for marine mammals like seals and dolphins. Only an hour flight from central London to the area's domestic airport, sandy Fistral and Watergate Bay are certified as Blue Flag - ensuring clean water and beaches.

Conditions
The coastline around Towan Beach and Fistral beach is a hotspot for biodiversity. One side is exposed to the powerful Atlantic swells and the other sheltered with deep smugglers caves. Water visibility is good, offering clear views of the seafloor below. Sea kayak lessons are organised according to the tide - with the most favourable season running from May until September when sea temperatures reach 17°C.
