Practical information
Share the tandem flying experience with friends – groups of up to 4 people can book simultaneously. You'll launch either together or in two sequential rounds. While airborne, your focus will be solely on the experience shared with your tandem pilot.
Total Activity Duration: 2 hours (inclusive of transfer and landing)
Flight Duration: Approximately 20 minutes, contingent on wind conditions.
- Your rendezvous with your skilled instructor unfolds atop Mount Gaisberg, conveniently accessible by car or public bus from Salzburg city center (Bus number 151 departs directly from Mirabellplatz, with a fare of 3.40 EUR to the meeting point, Gaisbergspitze).
- This initial meeting provides an opportunity to familiarize yourself with your pilot and address any queries you may have regarding your flight.
- Before taking to the skies, you'll complete a flight ticket containing risk instructions and flying terms and conditions, ensuring comprehensive insurance coverage.
- Your experienced instructor will deliver a comprehensive briefing covering flight procedures and safety protocols.
- And now, the moment of flight arrives! With a few synchronized steps (don't leave all the running to your instructor), you'll feel the exhilaration of takeoff beneath your feet.
- As you ascend into the sky, settle back into your harness and simply relish the breathtaking vista.
- For those seeking an extra dose of adrenaline, your pilot can execute special maneuvers that subject you to thrilling centrifugal forces.
- As the passenger, landing is a breeze – extend your legs and touch down gracefully.
Participants must:

While you glide through the skies, your companions can observe from the takeoff or landing sites. Atop Gaisberg, indulge in rewarding hikes, and the alpine hut and restaurant beckon for a pause. Additionally, this vantage point provides the perfect backdrop for a commemorative photo at liftoff.
