Location
This activity takes place in Madesimo in the Italian Alps. Connected to Switzerland via the Splügen Pass, the ski area has more than 60 km of downhill slopes and 25 km of trails for cross-country skiing, the total surface area being spread over the municipalities of Madesimo, Campodolcino and Piuro.

An unforgettable way of exploring the alpine badlands between Italy and Switzerland, this winter adventure explores up to 70km of routes across the Splügen Pass. Suitable for groups of friends and families alike, start with a short safety briefing and demo before you set off through the winter woodlands of the ski resort. Suitable for total beginners, these lightweight two-seater snowmobiles allow you to glide through heavy snow drifts and mountain terrain – following a lead guide as you cruise through the pristine pine forests and along a white alpine plain. Reaching a traditional mountain retreat, park your vehicles in the snow and step inside for a luxury four-course meal (optional), enjoying local delicacies and exploring the landscape on foot. Later, you will return to Madesimo before dusk, stopping to mark the moment at an exceptional viewpoint with postcard-quality views.
Conditions
Operating during the winter ski season from December –April, this activity uses single-seater snowmobiles which require a full, valid driving licence. Passengers are permitted at an extra cost.
