Practical information
A mini-rafting trip lasting around 2 hours in the morning, alternating between calm moments and more sporting moments with 5 fairly strong class 2 and 3 rapids, followed by another activity (canoeing or kayak rafting) in the afternoon
- Meeting with the instructor at the Tom Rafting base in Villelongue
- Distribution of equipment (changing rooms available)
- Briefing on the activity and safety instructions
- Approximately 10-minute approach walk to the starting point of the rafting trip
- Departure for approximately 2 hours of mini-rafting on the Gave de Pau, alternating between calm moments and more sporting moments with 5 fairly strong class 2 and 3 rapids
- Picnic break of 1.5 hours by the water
- Departure for around 2 hours of canoeing or kayak rafting on the Gave de Pau
- End of the trip, then return by shuttle to the base where you can undress and even take a shower if necessary to finish the activity
All participants must know how to swim to take part in this activity.
Depending on the water level, the minimum age can vary between 7 and 12 years old.
Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity without an accompanying adult.
A minimum number of 4 participants is required to run this activity.
This activity is open to disabled people depending on the type of disability: please contact us before booking to confirm whether or not you can take part (the instructor will need to organise a specific session for people with reduced mobility).
