Practical information
- Pick up at your accommodation all over the island between 5.30 and 6.30 am
- Boarding of the boat on the west coast of Mauritius between 7 am and 7.30 am
- Boat ride to Tamarin Bay with briefing from the instructors on the types of dolphins you will encounter and their habits, the rules to respect for the dolphins' well-being, the safety measures on the boat and the procedures for the launch
- Snorkeling with dolphins in Tamarin Bay
- If there is still time, head to another snorkeling spot to discover the Mauritian seabed near the reefs before returning to the port and your accommodation.
Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
If you wish to participate in snorkeling, it is necessary to know how to swim. This activity is not recommended for pregnant women.
90% of the time, you will see dolphins. However, if this is not the case, a second trip will be offered to you for free on the boat (transportation to and from your hotel is not included for this second trip). It is important to note that there will be no refund once you have completed the activity.
Please note: this is an early morning activity on the west coast of the island, the exact time of the meeting will depend on the location of your hotel (usually between 5.30 and 6.30 am).
