Practical information

Looking for a real adventure in the world of dog sledding? The total immersion is made for you.

Course of the day :

- Arrival at the office at 11am, taking possession of the cold clothes.

- Meeting on the lake for a driving lesson and initiation ride

- Shuttle bus to the mushers' camp where the mountain kennel is located.

- Lunch at your musher's camp in his rustic cabin

- Departure on the mountain trails in the direction of Beaver Lake

- Return to base camp around 3pm

- Now you can congratulate your dogs and take pictures with them!

Activity requirements

Minimum driver age: 16 years old

The person driving the sled must be able to stand with his hands on the sled behind the basket and to brake with his foot to slow the dogs down.

Physical ability required: to make a mountain hike with ascents and descents.

Please arrive 30 minutes before the departure time.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

This activity is not accessible for pregnant or disabled people.

If you wish, you can rent cold-weather equipment (mittens, coat, trousers and boots) on site for a supplement of $20.

A shuttle transfer from Montreal to the meeting place is available: the cost is $100+taxes per person (a minimum of 2 people is required for transportation).
