Practical information
The 20 hours are split into five 4 hour sessions that can be practiced over 3 to 5 days - you decide.
Programme:
- Get to know the equipment you’ll be using and learn how to analyse the environment, water and weather conditions you will be training in. You will also learn how to identify the ideal wind windows and the power zones.
- Successfully steer your kite
- Practice traction and bodydragging downwind
- Try your first water starts
- Learn how to do an emergency self land
- Learning how to ride left and right (changing directions)
- Try going upwind
- After the session you will have a quick debrief with your instructor who will explain what you’re doing well and what needs more work
- Steer your kite autonomously and execute your first jumps
All participants must be at least 15 years old or at weigh at least 45 kgs and be able to swim autonomously.
Children under 18 years old must provide proof of parental consent.
In adverse weather conditions your lessons may be postponed to a later date convenient to both you and the school.
July & August are peaks seasons, therefore the prices are higher during these months. (€ 535 pp.)
Off-peak seasons: € 525 pp.
