An action-packed descent suitable for beginners, this category III section of the Sella is only available at certain times of the year due to receding water levels. Learn more about the river classification below.
Class III: Rapids with moderate, irregular waves, tight passages, strong eddies and current effects.
Meet your rafting team at the activity base in Arriondas for this whitewater rafting excursion in Asturias. Considered one of the three wildest rivers in the area, your instructor will walk you through the paddle techniques, commands and safety features of the tour before you set off on a shuttle to the embankment area. Suitable for total beginners and experienced paddlers alike, this half-day rafting adventure is an exciting and demanding day out on a category III section of the Sella.
A two-hour descent led by an in boat guide, paddle as a team to navigate furious rapids, big waves, whitewater cascades, rocky obstructions and enormous eddies – leaning into the challenge as you get wet from head to toe! Once you have completed the section of the Sella, you will return back to the activity base in time for a hot shower and some light refreshments.
Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
