Practical information
On this excursion, you will try scuba diving for the first time with a qualified instructor. This option includes two open dives. In the morning, you'll dive directly from the shore at Paradise Beach, and in the afternoon, you'll dive from the boat in another spot.
- Arrive at the dive centre at Paradise Beach
- Meet the instructor
- Watch an introductory video (approximately 20 minutes)
- Receive scuba diving equipment (mask, fins, snorkel, buoyancy compensator, wetsuit, regulator, and tank)
- Safety briefing and instructions
- Walk to the waterline on Paradise Beach
- Practice using the equipment in shallow water
- The open water shore dive begins!
- Discover an underwater reef (approximately 45 minutes)
- Return to the dive centre at Paradise Beach
- Prepare for the boat dive
- Depart by boat from Paradise Beach to a nearby dive site
- Arrive at the dive site
- The open water boat dive begins!
- Discover the underwater dive site (approximately 45 minutes)
- Return to the dive centre on Paradise Beach
- Receive logged dives and Discover Scuba Diving certificate
