Practical information
3-4 hour shark cage diving boat tour, departing from Simon's Town.
-Meet guides at meeting point in Simon's Town
-Board boat
-Receive safety and acivity briefing
-Enjoy biscuits and tea/coffee
-Sealife safari
-Drop anchor
-Get into the cage and dive with sharks!
-After 3-4 hrs at sea, head back to shore
-Enjoy a light meal
-De-equip and debrief
-End of activity
Children above 10 years old will be allowed into the cage on the basis that parents vouch for their aquatic experience.
Divers and surface viewers pay the same price.
Sharks are completely wild animals and as such sightings and behaviour cannot be guaranteed.
Trips are weather dependent and not species-dependent.
If you are prone to motion sickness, or not used to being anchored at sea, it is recommended to take Sturgeron or Dramamine tablets. Take one the night before your trip and another one and a half hours before the scheduled meeting time.
