Practical information

Hike of about 6 hours (allow up to 8 hours of activity from the pick up to the return to Banff) of 10 to 14 km, with an elevation gain of about 300 m.

8 am - Pick-up at your hotel in Banff (check with the instructor to plan the pick-up once your booking has been confirmed)
9 am - Lake Louise Ski Hill pick-ups
9.15 am - arrive at Fish Creek Parking lot (Skoki Trailhead). Drive up private access road
9.30 am - arrive at Temple Lodge, Lake Louise Ski Resort area boundary. Begin hike
9.30 am - 3 pm - incredible guided backcountry hiking along the Skoki Trail
3 pm - arrive back at Temple Lodge to board return shuttle
3.30 pm - Drop off Lake Louise Ski Hill
4.30 pm - Return to Banff, end of tour

Activity requirements

A minimum of 2 people is required for the outing to take place.

Temperatures in the higher elevations can be colder than Banff town, please dress accordingly.

Special terms

Once your reservation is confirmed, you must contact your instructor to determine your pick up location in Banff.

If you are not at your pick up location on time, the guide will leave without you and you will not be refunded.

The length and duration of each hike will vary depending on the fitness level of the group. Please allow 6-8 hours for the duration of your hike, from pick up to drop off.
