On this excursion, you'll depart from Akureyri and embark on a jeep tour and hike at Askja Caldera. Your private group will be alone with the guide.

- Meet the guide and board the Super Jeep
- The jeep tour begins!
- Drive through the Mývatn area
- Arrive at Herðubreiðarlindir
- Explore the lava field
- Continue to Askja Caldera
- The hiking adventure begins!
- 2.5 km / 1.6 mi hike to Víti Crater (approximately 35-45 minutes)
- Bathe in the geothermal pool (optional)
- Enjoy own packed lunch
- 2.5 km / 1.6 mi hike back to the parking lot (approximately 35-45 minutes)
- Return drive to the starting point in Akureyri
Total time in Askja: approximately 2.5 - 3.5 hours
