Discover kitesurfing and learn to control the force of the wind on the sand and the force of your kite on the water with this 6 hours course - Kiteboarder Level 2 in the water
This activity includes 3x2 hours of training consecutive or spread over 3 days, depending on your wishes.
Beginners start with a theory lesson on the sand. During this 30 to 45 minute session, you will learn to recognize the wind window and prepare your equipment.
Then, you will go into the water to learn how to handle your kite and master the body dragging. Depending on how quickly you understand, you will be able to use a board for short distances in the water.
Once you are comfortable with the above techniques, you can start to get downwind, turn and maybe even learn your first jumps.
Discovery course the first 2 hours, then progression course the next 4 hours:
STEP 1
Enter and exit the water independently and safely while controlling the kite.
Water re-launch the kite.
First body drag downwind.
Maintain correct kite position in the wind window.
Change direction to the left and right while body dragging.
Recover the kite and bar in the water.
STEP 2
Upwind body drag to recover board.
Upwind body drag holding the board with one hand.
Enter and exit at the same point while upwind body dragging.
STEP 3
Know the power stroke for a water start.
Know the safety rules and theory for water start.
Can put the board on the feet and maintain the correct position for water start.
Participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
It is necessary to know how to swim and to be in good physical shape.
