Course of events

Please plan a whole day for this activity, including 8 to 10 hours of sightseeing.

Some walking is involved, typically around 1-2 hours in total, depending on the specific route and conditions.

  • Meet your guide in Bled.
  • Start your journey through the scenic valley of Bohinj.
  • 1st stop : Bohinj lake.
  • Short walk by the lake.
  • 2nd stop : river Mostnica gorge.
  • 3rd stop : largest mountain plateau in Slovenia – Pokljuka. You will stop there for a traditional Slovenian brunch, a stew, and a dessert.
  • Get back on the road through the valley of Radovna to the valley of Vrata.
  • 4th stop : Hike by the river of Triglavska Bistrica, reaching the amazing waterfall Peričnik.
  • 5th stop : Zelenci nature reserve.
  • 6th stop : Kranjska Gora village. There, you can have some traditional Slovenian street food at the sparkly and traditional alpine village.
  • Drive back to Bled.

Children must be accompanied by an adult and parental authorization is required.

Special terms

It is recommended that you will be at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the tour will start.

Most of the points are seeable from the car, so you don’t need to walk if you don’t want to.
