Practical information
Join a small group of nature enthusiasts and go searching for dolphins and whales in the Atlantic Ocean around Madeira! Learn about the species you might see, and enjoy the impressive views of the beautiful Madeira as you sail the ocean on this wonderful activity.
- Arrival at the meeting point and introduction to your guide
- Embark on the boat and depart from Marina Quinta do Lorde
- Travel a few miles offshore to find whales, dolphins, and more marine life
- Stop to snorkel at Ponta de São Lourenço (only in the summer)
- Return to Marina Quinta do Lorde
- Disembarkment and end of activity
Please arrive at the meeting point 30 minutes before the time of your tour.
Each tour must have at least 6 passengers, if that is not the case, your tour will be reprogrammed or cancelled free of charge.
The instructor offers a pick-up and drop-off service for 10€ per person. If you would like to reserve it please contact your instructor once your reservation has been confirmed.
Please note that the duration and itinerary of the activity are weather-dependent.
Since wildlife is unpredictable, their presence is never guaranteed.
