Practical information

Course of events

- Meeting with your instructor at the meeting point.

- Equipment fitting (helmet with light, clean cotton suit, clean boots, harness).

- Distribution of bags to be carried, approach walk of 20 minutes and briefing on the trip.

- Outdoor rope exercise to learn how to handle the tools.

- Exploration of the network for about 3h/3h30 (traverse route with rope recovery, no turning back possible).

- 20 minutes walk back to the site.

- Storage of equipment with the instructor.

- Debriefing on the outing (optional).

Activity requirements

You have to be very fit and able to move around on varied terrain to take part in this activity.

You must not be claustrophobic or have had recent fractures.

Previous caving experience is a plus. Previous experience of rope access is a plus.

Please inform the instructor if you are taking any medication or have any health problems.

Special terms

Minors must be accompanied.

Meeting point:
Small earthen car park located after the village of Ria, between the Ria railway station and just before the carpentry. On the N116, turn right before the carpenter's workshop, cross the small Pont d'en Gourne. The car park is located 1min after on your right.
