Practical information

PADI’s Junior Open Water course is reserved for kids between 10 and 14 years old.

At the end of the course depending on your age you will be able to:
- If between 10-11 years old: dive up to 12 meters with a PADI Professional.
- If between 12-14 years old: dive up to 18 meters with a certified adult.

Course of events

- Meet your instructor at Lipari Diving Center La Gorgonia - S. Giuseppe, 98055 Lipari ME, Italy.
- Briefing and equipment.
- Theoretical session.
- 2 dives in shallow waters.
- 4 open water dives.

Your instructor will communicate the definitive plan on-site.

Activity requirements

- The minimum age is 10 years old (minors need parental approval).
- You must be able to swim.
- You must be in good physical health.

Special terms

- It is not recommended to take a flight until 24 hours after diving.
