Practical information
Come and visit the preserved fauna and flora of the Grand Cul-de-sac marin nature reserve and dive into the reserve to explore the bay's preserved fauna and flora.
- Meeting with the captain in front of the Blue Lagoon hut in the port of Sainte-Rose (ample free parking for your car)
- Boarding of the boat and briefing during the trip, then first stop in front of the îlet Blanc without disembarking
- Sailing and exploration in the heart of the mangrove swamp
- Ascend a mysterious river where you will be told local tales and legends
- First snorkelling stop near mangrove islets, in the white seabed to observe the underwater life (fish nursery and family of echinoderms such as sea urchins, starfish, etc.)
- Second snorkelling stop above a shipwreck
- Tasting a homemade planteur or fruit juice as you disembark on a dreamy islet before returning to the port of Sainte-Rose
A minimum number of 6 participants is required for this activity to take place.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time.
This activity is weather-dependent. If the weather does not allow for the activity to take place, we will contact you to reschedule or receive a full refund.
Please note that the exact duration and itinerary of the activity are weather-dependent and may be modified if the captain deems it necessary.
On site, you will be asked to pay the captain the Barnier tax (1€ per person), which is compulsory for entry to the Guadeloupe National Park.
