Practical information
A 2-day, 1-night course aimed at reviewing and improving the fundamentals of independent living in the great outdoors, while putting vital procedures into practice
- Reviewing the basics: what equipment and tools to take with you, keeping warm, managing hydration, finding your bearings and taking shelter
- Shelter: review or discover different techniques for setting up shelters. Setting up a quick shelter, securing a bivouac, etc.
- Thermal regulation: learn the basic principles of protection against heat and cold depending on the season, choose your clothing, etc.
- Stress management: diagnosing your stress, mastering and maintaining control, anticipating stress
- Technology: recharging your connected devices (GPS, phone, lights, etc.) in the great outdoors
- First aid kit and first aid with essential oils
- Advice on buying equipment
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
You do not need to have taken part in the Awareness course before.
The meeting place will be given to you by the instructor a few days before the start of the course.
