Practical information
A 2-day, 1-night course on a specific theme, designed to help you evolve independently in the wilderness following the announcement of a disaster scenario
- Reviewing the basics: what equipment and tools to take with you, keeping warm, managing hydration, finding your bearings and taking shelter
- Planning: adopting the right strategies for the group, preparing and distributing (the right) equipment, etc.
- Protecting yourself: assessing the situation, organising actions, ensuring your survival and that of your loved ones
- Finding your bearings: with or without a compass, day or night, etc.
- Shelter: choose the most suitable and safest places for your bivouacs and your group, find water, food, make a fire (in partnership with the ONF and in compliance with the prefectoral decrees in force in the Hérault, no fires will be made during the course in view of the high fire risk) and erect your shelter
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
You do not need to have taken part in the Awareness or Initiation course before.
