In addition, all children (ages 4-14) are pulled in a sleigh behind a snowmobile. If children above 1,40 cm (4'5'') wish to sit on the snowmobile, they must be booked as adults. All the snowmobiles are 2-seated and drivers can swap places during the tour.
All of the snowmobiles are insured by traffic law for medical expenses. The snowmobile driver is held liable for any damages caused to the snowmobile. The liability damage cost has a flat rate of 900 € per person in case of an accident. For our shorter snowmobile tours (up to 4 hours duration) it is possible to purchase insurance from Wild Nordic for 20 € per person (as of winter 2024/2025), which reduces the maximum liability to 150 € per person (all the information regarding the self liability will be given by the guide before starting the safari.
