Practical information
This tour covers a total distance of 10 km (6.2 miles).
Course of events
- Pick-up from the Thon or Scandic Hotels (please specify when booking)
- 15-minute drive to the Snowhotel
- Put on your winter gear (thermal overalls, boots, mittens, and balaclava)
- Meet your experienced guide
- Safety briefing and introduction to dog sledding
- Meet the Huskies
- The adventure begins!
- Return to the Snowhotel
- Transfer back to the original departure point in Kirkenes
Activity requirements
All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Please be advised that the guide drives the dog team on this excursion and x2 guests are seated on each sled.
