Practical information
Have you always wanted to go scuba diving? This try dive on the shore of Madeira allows you to get the scuba experience without having to get fully certified! Learn scuba diving techniques, dive in a pool for practice, and then get into the ocean to see if this activity is for you. What are you waiting for?
- Arrival at the meeting point and introduction to your instructors
- Theoretical lesson on diving in the classroom at Azul Diving Center
- Equipment distribution
- First dive in shallow water in the school pool (maximum depth: 12 mt/40 ft)
- Once you feel safe and ready to dive into the sea, dive for about 45/50 minutes at a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet)
- Return to the diving school
- Equipment return and end of activity
All participants under 18 must provide written parental consent.
Please note you must provide a medical certificate dated within the last 3 months from your GP stating that you are allowed to practice this activity.
All participants must know how to swim autonomously.
It is not recommended to take a flight until 24 hours after the last dive.
Please note that the duration and itinerary of the activity are weather-dependent.
