Practical information

2-day survival course.

Departure on Saturday at 12 noon, night in bivouac and return on Sunday at 12 noon.

Course of events

Day 1 :

- Arrive at meeting point at 12pm and meet guide

- Departure for a hike, learning essential survival skills

- Construction of an igloo and camp for the night

- Evening meal around the fire and bivouac

Day 2 :

- Breakfast and tidy up camp

- Walk back and learn essential survival skills

- Return to the meeting point and end of the activity at 12pm

Activity requirements

You must not have any medical contraindications to take part in this activity.

Being in good physical condition is required to take part in this activity.

It is preferable to have already done avalanche transceiver search exercises and to have already bivouacked in the summer.

Some equipment can be lent by your guide. Please contact him or her once the activity has been confirmed if you have any questions about compulsory or optional equipment or if you would like to borrow it.
