Practical information
- Number of jumps: 5 or more (no jump is compulsory)
- Maximum height of jumps: 8 metres (optional and only if your instructor considers it safe)
- Number of slides: 5 or more
- Maximum height of the slide: 10 metres
- Number of abseils: 5 or more
- Highest abseil: 20 metres
- Time in the canyon: 2.5 to 3.5 hours depending on the group
- Meet at the small car park next to the rescue centre.
- Drive to the canyon car park (7-8 minutes).
- First briefing on the activity.
- Equip yourself with canyoning gear.
- Drive to the start of the canyon (5 minutes, filling up the cars as much as possible).
- 10-minute walk to the start of the canyon.
- Technical and safety briefing before the descent.
- Descent of the canyon (approximately 2h30 to 3h depending on your level).
- Arrival at the end of the canyon, 2 minutes from the car park where we changed (no walk back).
- From equipment
- Shuttle to pick up the cars used to go up.
- Photos taken during the descent into the canyon, offered after the outing.
You must be able to swim (or at least be comfortable in the water).
Good physical condition is essential for canyoning. The minimum requirement is to be able to walk easily for 2 hours on difficult terrain, and to have stable feet.
For the descent of this canyon no jump is obligatory you will always have the possibility of circumventing it or of descending by abseiling.
You must wear one pair of sports shoes (without flat soles) for the canyoning activity. Shoes will get wet, so don't forget to take a second pair of shoes to change into after the activity.
This canyoning activity is not accessible to pregnant people, people with motor disabilities, people with mental/psychic/cognitive disabilities, infants and pets.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the departure time.
