Practical information

Course of events

- Welcome and safety instructions.
- Distribution and checking of canyoning equipment.
- Transfer by car to the canyon (30 minutes).
- Walk to the top of the canyon (30 minutes).
- Neoprene wetsuit fitting.
- Start canyon descent, alternating abseils, jumps and slides for 1.5 to 2 hours.
- Walk back to vehicle (10 minutes)
- Return to Bovec Canyoning base (30 minutes)
- End of canyoning

Activity requirements

Good physical condition is essential for canyoning. The minimum requirement is to be able to walk easily for 2 hours on difficult terrain, and to have stable feet.

You must wear one pair of sports shoes (without flat soles) for the canyoning activity. Shoes will get wet, so don't forget to take a second pair of shoes to change into after the activity.

You must be able to swim.

If you suffer from vertigo or fear of heights this canyoning is not recommended.

Special terms

The activity can accommodate up to 12 people, but Bovec Canyoning provides an instructor for a maximum of 6 adventurers.
