Practical information
Morning descent of Piton Maïdo once the sun has risen
Course of events
- Meeting with the instructor at the meeting point
- Shuttle bus to the excursion departure point (approx. 1 hour's transport)
- Distribution of bikes and safety equipment, followed by fitting out
- Briefing on the route you will be taking and safety rules
- Departure for the descent, which lasts around 4 hours, with a break to enjoy a local sugar cane drink or fruit juice
- End of the descent and return of bikes and equipment
Activity requirements
Knowing how to ride a bike is compulsory for this activity.
Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
