Practical information
Let yourself be charmed by the tranquillity of Quebec's nature on a packraft descent guided by our experts for a memorable adventure in the heart of the region's natural beauty at Saint-Brigitte-de Laval.
- Meeting with the guide at the Quatre Natures base in Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval (approx. 45-minute drive)
- Briefing on the activity and safety instructions, followed by equipment distribution (wetsuits in May and October)
- 15-minute shuttle journey to the packraft launch point
- Departure for a 2.5 to 3-hour packraft descent of the Montmorency river (class I and II rapids), including a mid-course break for a snack and perhaps a swim
- Return to the base by shuttle, de-equipping and opportunity to change on site to end the activity (toilets only, no changing rooms)
Maximum weight per packraft: 600 lbs (272 kg)
All participants must know how to swim to take part in this activity.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
This activity is not accessible to pregnant people and disabled people.
Pets are not permitted to join in this activity.
Quatre Natures believes that there is no such thing as bad weather on a river trip: if the water level is too high or there is a risk of thunderstorms, the activity will be postponed.
