Half day guided ice fishing excursion in the Yukon that includes cooking your catch!
Course of events
-Pick-up at Sternwheeler Hotel at departure time
-Meet guides and drive to ice fishing location
-Activity and safety briefing
-Park by lakeside and snowshoe to the fishing spot
-Begin ice fishing
-Cook your catch over a fire
-End of activity
-Snowshoe back to lakeside
-Transportation back to pick-up spot
Activity requirements
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Participants are required to wear weather appropriate outdoor clothing.
Special terms
Winter clothing is available for rent if necessary, inclusive of an insulated weatherproof parka, insulated snow pants, winter boots good for up to -40°C, mitts and glove liners, and a knitted hat. The average rental price is around 130 CAD.
