Practical information
A 3-hour sporty rafting trip down the Jacques-Cartier river followed by a BBQ lunch and an afternoon at the Nordique spa Stoneham.
- Welcome at the Expéditions Nouvelle Vague base in Saint-Gabriel-de-Valcartier, just a 35-minute drive from Quebec City
- Administrative formalities (participation form, etc.), presentation of the activity and explanation of the risk acceptance form
- Equipment, then transport by bus to the raft launch point
- Briefing on basic rafting techniques and a short practice
- Departure for a 3-hour rafting trip down the Jacques-Cartier River, including a mid-course snack break on the water
- Arrival at the base, then de-equipping with the possibility of a shower
- Lunch on the base terrace (BBQ - hamburger and chips)
- Access to the spa from 1 p.m.
All participants must know how to swim to take part in this activity.
Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity. Minors must be accompanied by an adult to access the spa.
You must not have any medical contraindications to take part in this activity (recent surgery, heart problems, etc.).
Cotton clothing should be avoided.
A minimum number of 6 participants is required to run this activity.
This activity is not accessible to pregnant people and disabled people.
Pets are not permitted to join in this activity.

- 3 or 5mm isothermal neoprene overalls, depending on the temperature
