Boat Trip to Gramvousa and Balos from Chania

The cruise schedule will be as follows: 1 hour and 30 minutes (approx.) stay in Gramvousa and 2.5 hours (approx.) stop for swimming in the open sea of Balos.

• Welcoming in Chania (several meeting points available)
• Transfer from Chania to Kissamos
• Boarding and briefing
• Departure from Kissamos Port
• Sail towards Gramvousa (1 hour)
• Hike to the castle on the island of Gramvousa (15-20 minutes)
• Time for swimming in Gramvousa (1.5 hours)
• Sail towards Balos (15 minutes)
• Enjoy the open sea of Balos (2.5 hours)
• Sail back to Kissamos (1h15)
• Transfer back to Chania

Please arrive at the pickup point at least 5 minutes before the projected schedule.

⚠️ There are several meeting points for this activity. Please check this document for further information and don't hesitate to contact your guide once your booking is confirmed.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The boats will not approach the floating dock at Balos due to regulations that are put in place by Natura2000 protection status, so it will not be possible to disembark at Balos Lagoon. Thus, you will swim in the open sea of Balos.

In Gramvousa, you may return to the ship at any time, but make sure you are back at least 10 minutes before departure.

Gramvousa and Balos do not have roads or shops. The ship's self-service restaurant bar is open throughout the cruise, so you can enjoy a delicious meal, salad, snacks, drinks, coffee, ice creams, etc. on board or take away your meal in a package.

You can rent a sun umbrella from the boat, at a daily fee of 5€, with 7€ deposit.

You can use your credit card for purchases onboard the ship.
