Practical information
A full-day course comprising 3 sessions of stalking observation of different species (depending on the season), each lasting 2 to 3 hours.
- Meeting with the nature guide not far from the Château de Chastellux (you can be picked up at Avallon station and driven to the meeting point if you do not have a car: in this case, please contact the guide in advance to make a request)
- Presentation of the day's 3 observation sessions
- Departure for a first morning session (e.g. observation of the Dipper on a torrential river in the Morvan)
- Free time for lunch (at your own expense)
- Appointment for the second observation session (e.g. observation of a colony of European Bee-eaters)
- Free time before the last observation session at dusk (e.g. observation of a badger burrow in a forest)
- Debriefing and end of the activity
Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity without an accompanying adult.
A minimum number of 2 participants is required to run this activity.
Being in good physical condition is required to take part in this activity.
This activity is not accessible to people with disabilities.
Pets are not permitted to join in this activity.
Since wildlife is unpredictable, their presence is never guaranteed.
The meeting time for this activity is given as an indication: once your booking has been confirmed, the guide will send you a detailed programme of the activity with the times of the sessions.
