Course of events

DAY 1

- Arrival at the meeting point in Pyhätunturi (please arrive 15 minutes before the departure time)

- Meet your experienced guide

- Safety and itinerary briefing

- Receive your snowshoes, poles, and gaiters

- Scenic transfer to the departure point in Pyhä-Luosto National Park

- Arrival

- Pack the snowshoe tour sleds

- Introduction to backcountry snowshoeing techniques

- The adventure begins!

- Snowshoeing

- Wilderness lunch

- The adventure continues to the remote cabin

- Dinner

- Optional sauna

DAY 2

- Breakfast

- Pack your belongings

- Morning snowshoe tour (without the tour sleds)

- Lunch at the cabin

- Hike through Rykimäkuru Gorge

- Snowshoe back to the original departure point

- Scenic transfer back to the meeting point Pyhätunturi

- Arrival slated for 5:00 p.m.
