Practical information
Try your hand at dog sledding in the Ottawa-Gatineau region and enjoy a fun activity that's accessible to children aged 5 and over!
- Distance of the excursion : 15km (9.3 miles).
Different ways of arranging people per sleigh :
- 2 adults: 1 driver and 1 passenger
- 2 adults and a child: 1 adult driver and 2 passengers
- 1 adult and 2 children: 1 adult driver and 2 child passengers
Please allow 3 hours in total for this activity, including around 1 hour 15 minutes for the dog-sleigh ride.

A minimum of 2 participants is required for the activity to take place.
The minimum age for driving the sleigh is 13. Younger children must be passengers.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult to take part.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the activity.
Pets and infants are not accepted for this activity.
The adult fare applies to participants aged over 13 and/or weighing over 45kg (100lbs).
The child rate applies to participants aged 12 and under and/or weighing less than 45kg (100lbs).
