Practical information
Discover scuba diving during your first dive with your dedicated instructor. You should allow 4.5 hours for the activity in total.

- First dive in shallow waters for about 20 minutes

- The main objective of the Discover Scuba Diving programme is to introduce non-divers to the basics and sensations of scuba diving in a safe and controlled environment.
- Participants will have the opportunity to experience breathing underwater using scuba diving equipment, which includes a regulator, buoyancy control device (BCD) and tank.
- Participants will receive basic instruction on essential scuba diving skills, such as removing the mask, retrieving the regulator and equalising ear pressure.
- Under the direct supervision of a certified dive instructor, participants will conduct a shallow water dive (usually in a pool or confined water environment) to practice the techniques learned and experience the underwater environment.
- Participants will learn about scuba diving equipment, including how it works, how to assemble and disassemble it and how to perform basic equipment checks.
- Participants will receive a comprehensive safety briefing covering basic dive safety rules, emergency procedures and communication signals.
- Participants will have the opportunity to explore the underwater environment, observe marine life (if applicable) and experience the feeling of weightlessness underwater.
All participants must know how to swim to take part in this activity.
For this activity, you must not have any of the following contraindications: (respiratory problems (exertional asthma), heart problems, ENT problems, lung problems, diabetes or epilepsy). If you have any doubts, don't hesitate to contact us or ask for medical advice.
The minimum age for this activity is: 14 years old.

Please note you cannot fly for up to 18 hours after your last scuba dive.
