- Skógafoss Waterfall stop
- Receive your ice climbing equipment (helmet, harness, crampons, and ice axes)
- 30-minute hike to the Solheimajökull Glacier
- Arrival
- Introduction to ice climbing, ice climbing equipment, and ice climbing techniques
- Instructor demonstration
- Equipment double-check
- Ice climbing on the Solheimajökull Glacier!
- Break
- 30-minute hike back to the vehicle
- Return to the original departure point in Reykjavík (approximately a 2-hour drive)
Please be advised that all children must be accompanied by an adult.
In addition, participants must be in good physical condition to take part in this excursion.
Pick-up is offered from select locations in Reykjavík via this link. Please specify when booking and arrive 15 minutes before the departure time.

All 15 photos will be sent to participants 14 days after the ice-climbing excursion via a downloadable drive.
