Practical information

A 3-hour excursion including a visit to the Athabascaes Wood Bison Reserve in Quebec and the Kanatha Aki kennel, as well as a snowshoe hike in the Laurentians.

Course of events

- Welcome at the Kanatha Aki chalet

- Meeting with a guide who will explain the activity and safety instructions

- Autonomous snowshoes excursion to discover the flora and fauna of the Laurentians

- Tour of the Athabascaes Wood Bison Reserve (approx. 15 minutes)

- Stop at a sacred site of the Amerindian ancestors, erected by an Algonquin elder

- Visit to the Kanatha Aki kennels

- Return to the welcome chalet where you can debrief of the excursion over a hot drink to finish the activity

Activity requirements

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

A minimum of 2 adult participants is required to run this activity.
