First Scuba Dive in Nice, French Riviera

- Meeting with the guide at the Chango Diving base in the port of Nice

- Gear up at the base with a briefing on the activity, the underwater environment, the equipment used and safety

- Board the boat opposite the base

- Sail for 10 to 15 minutes to the dive site, usually in the harbour of Villefranche-sur-Mer

- Equipment check and safety briefing before launching with the instructor, who will help you set up your tanks

- Dive for 40 minutes in pairs with your instructor or with friends and/or family (up to 4 divers per instructor), to a maximum depth of 6 metres

- Return aboard the boat, with the option of snorkelling on your own (under the supervision of an instructor from the boat) if you wish, while waiting for the other participants to complete their first dive

- 10-15 minute return trip to the port of Nice

- Disembarkation, de-equipping at the base and end of the activity

All participants must know how to swim to take part in this activity.

This activity is not accessible to pregnant people.

Activity accessible to people with reduced mobility and motor disabilities, subject to certain conditions: please contact us before booking to confirm whether or not you can take part.

Photos and video are available at an additional fee of €30, to be paid onsite.

You have the option of snorkelling on your own before and/or after your first dive (additional buoyancy accessories can be added, please ask for them when you arrive at the centre).
