Summer Tandem Paragliding in Fügen, Zillertal

Fügen is located in the Zillertal and surrounded by the Tux Alps in Tyrol which makes it an incredible destination for hiking and outdoor activities. And one of THE best spots for paragliding in Austria! On this unique tandem flight, you will glide down the southern side of the Spieljoch mountain all the way down into the valley… Get ready for some breathtaking views!

Meet your paragliding expert at the Spieljochbahn in Fügen on top of the mountain at roughly 1800 metres altitude. After the safety briefing and introduction, you will head to the starting point which is only a few minutes from the meeting point.

Here you are going to help to prepare the paraglider wing. Your helmet and harness will be individually adjusted, everything will be double-checked once again and you are ready to go! Face the valley and run or walk forward for a few steps. Your guide will pull on the wing which starts to fill up with air. As soon the wing is completely filled with air, you start walking and you are up in the air!

Now it's time to relax and to enjoy the beautiful panorama of the Zillertal Alps – from here you can see the mountain range of Karwendel, the Achen Lake, Kaiser Mountains and much more.

You will land near the Hotel Elisabeth which is close to the Spieljochbahn. If the weather conditions are good, your guide will try to land next to your hotel or accommodation in Fügen.
